Job Description

As a Process Technologist, you will be at the heart of our food manufacturing operations, playing a key role in product innovation and continuous improvement. You'll conduct trials, optimise existing processes, and ensure our production methods are efficient and standardised.

This role is based in Karawatha, Brisbane and reports to the Food Technology Manager.

You will...

Design and develop new processes for new product development, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
Analyse and optimise existing processes to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Conduct factory trials to improve productivity.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including trial reports and standard operating procedures.
Provide training and support to production staff to enhance their skills.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams like operations, product development, procurement, and quality.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

You have...

A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, preferably in a process engineering capacity.
Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Capable of recording and interpreting data to make informed recommendations.
