Job Description

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for keeping all of our equipment running smoothly and efficiently at our Youfoodz facility. You'll handle a mix of scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive repairs, responding to breakdown calls from the production team.

This role is based in Karawatha, Brisbane and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. You'll also get the chance to assist with new installations and capital projects as needed, so your work will directly contribute to our continuous improvement efforts and help reduce machinery downtime.

You will…

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot and fix equipment and machinery faults.
Follow all processes and procedures to meet our quality standards.
Help manage our stock of critical spare parts.
Contribute to the development of new processes that improve efficiency.
Report on your daily activities during shift handovers.
Assist with capital projects and new installations.

You have…

A trade qualification as a mechanical fitter.
At least 5 years of experience maintaining electromechanical machinery.
At least 3 years of experience in food industry maintenance.
An understanding of HACCP and GMP.
Experience with automated machinery.
Metal fabrication and Stainless TIG welding skills.
An open manual car licence.

Start Date: Immediately available - Can wait a notice period

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia.

Location: Karawatha, Brisbane - Parking On site

Shift: Wednesday to Saturday, 5am-3pm
