The role
Are you ready to ignite a revolution as the Principal Product Manager in our Global Payments team? The Global Payments team operates at HelloFresh group level and is responsible for the entire Payments domain in all business lines: from payment processing around our subscription model working with leading global payment providers, to ensuring customers are able to pay seamlessly with their preferred payment method and managing customer profitability through payment initiatives impacting retention.
As the Principal Product Manager for Global Payments at HelloFresh, you look across the entire domain to solve our hardest problems and work with stakeholders from all connected functions like growth, retention, commercial, finance etc. to evolve our Payment setup. You define the vision for your products, own our most strategic projects and bar-raise delivery across all squads.
What you’ll do
- Define long-term vision & mission for your Payment products, uncover new investment areas which generate measurable P&L impact and look around corners to set us up for success. You work with our team to translate this into yearly plans and sequenced, iterative investments.
- Manage and communicate regularly with other senior leaders in the business & product function to understand their roadmap and dependencies on Payments and big problems we have to solve across organizations, obtain buy-in, and drive successful implementation of product initiatives.
- Raise the bar on data driveness and customer-focused mindset, and help us create the right metric framework to inspect performance and connect to macro-level company performance
- Evaluate and manage existing 3rd party partnerships within payments & fraud domains, assess new 3rd partnerships from a long term strategy perspective and look for opportunities for new partnerships with the main focus to drive seamless customer experiences and business success..
- Provide guidance and support to foster collaboration, growth, and a culture of innovation among the entire HelloFresh Product and leadership team
What you’ll bring
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, translating market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning into actionable product plans and conversion funnel strategies.
- 10+ years of professional experience as product leader in the payments domain at a consumer facing or payments/financial services company.
- A high-grade product toolkit & mindset, with clear track record of long-term orientation, relentless prioritization, customer obsession and analytical rigor.
- Be a natural problem-solver, with a strong history of leading product discovery, solving meaningful customer and business problems, and delivering scalable solutions.
- Great communication skills - communicates the results of Payments initiatives to various audience levels such as business stakeholders, country leadership, senior management etc.
- A commercial and partnerships mindset - Develop business relationships with internal senior leaders and external partners such as third party vendors to improve performance and business success.
- Experience in growth, retention and subscription topics is nice to have.
