The role
As the Market Performance Lead for Reactivations, you will play a key leadership role within our Reactivations team, driving marketing strategies that strengthen customer reactivation efforts across all of our international markets for both our Meal Kit and Ready-to-Heat (RTH) brands. Based in our Berlin headquarters, you will collaborate closely with International Market CMOs, Growth Directors and Reactivations Managers as well as Campaign Management, Product Marketing, Finance and more.
This role focuses on liaising our strategic approach to all international market needs, including budgeting responsibility and the mandate to develop best practices and scale them to other markets as well as develop a strategic approach to localization at scale (e.g., by developing opportunities for local messaging to former customers within product and CRM). The ultimate goal of this position is to generate uplift in reactivations CVA in all markets by increasing fit-to-purpose of our central reactivations strategies to local customer needs. You will have the opportunity to shape reactivation campaigns, develop and influence communications strategies that promote HelloFresh’s and White Label’s product offering to former customers, elevate former customers’ brand perception, and increase reactivation rates. Moreover, you will own the performance vs forecast and the budgeting process of reactivations in local markets which includes setting targets together with our local market CMOs and day-to-day monitoring and steering of conversions, cost and ROI.

What you’ll do
- Local Market Support and Alignment
- Streamline processes and collaborate with local Marketing teams to ensure full visibility of local market needs, local campaigns and reactivations efforts.
- Prioritize support and experimentation pipeline for local markets
- Develop a comprehensive local market initiative roadmap for Reactivations
- Own the budgeting process for reactivations and bring together the budget between local markets, finance and other reactivations stakeholders (e.g., audience managers and campaign management)
- Process and Systems development:
- Develop and implement cross-functional processes that will lead to a more proactive and systematic approach to local market-central team collaboration (incl. budgeting, local initiative communication and experimentation)
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop systematic spaces and processes for localization-at-scale that does not strain central resources (e.g., quarterly local newsletter to formers with a clear intake rhythm and clearly communicated cut-off dates)
- Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement annual strategic plans for localization-at-scale initiatives, focusing on reactivating lapsed customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, local markets and international marketing leadership to align strategies with overall business goals.
- Develop at-scale analyses and communication pathways that will allow customer insights from local markets to inform our overall reactivations journey, product development, and GTM strategies.
- Data Analysis and Tech Tooling:
- Leverage data analysis to monitor performance, identify, test and evaluate performance improvement opportunities (ad hoc and at a more strategic level)
- Evaluate and implement CRM tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of outbound initiatives, coordinating with Call Center Operations and CommsTech.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in and a passion for delivering excellent and effective customer experiences (e.g., working in CRM/Lifecycle Marketing, campaign management, Product, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and motivate people at all levels within international environments and across a broad variety of job functions, including strong experience working with and leading distributed or remote teams.
- Systems-thinking: strong experience at building processes and systems to build efficiencies and scale and bring order to complex situations
- Strong ownership mentality and drive to deliver results, including experience with prioritizing for highest impact and managing trade-off decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data
- Ideally experience in Experimentation/Testing
