The role

As Senior Motion Designer you will be part of the Global Brand Team based in our Berlin Studio. You will play an integral part in the Design team, being involved in the creative process from inception to completion, namely, bringing eye-catching and innovative motion design to all of our projects. You will report directly to the Design Lead.

You are a problem solver who can help shape creative ideas as well as turn them into realities. You will often work on projects that require art direction, graphic design, 2D/3D motion and editing.

You will work closely with other stakeholders (Creative, Creative Operations, Marketing, Production), ensure solid communication and best practices across the company.

What you’ll do

Explore and work within a variety of different formats and platforms to develop spectacular creative for local and global campaigns.
Develop and maintain motion design guidelines and assets aligned with our brand identity.
Building and managing a motion design library for use across markets and deliverables.
Create and optimise engaging motion graphics for marketing campaigns, product features, and social media across different platforms and devices.
Utilise conceptual and design skills to execute compelling visual narratives for all kinds of media including TV, digital OOH, paid social assets, etc.
Portray diverse storytelling with motion graphics, animation and/or footage.
Design and convert storyboards into compelling motion graphics visuals.
Present work to stakeholders effectively.
Stay up to date with current design and culture, industry development and tools.
Contribute to cultivating a culture of creative excellence.
Learn our customer and market pains and needs.
Build a productive and trustworthy working relationship with other teams.
Manage priorities and workload effectively to meet expectations and deadlines.
Maintain brand consistency throughout all our HelloFresh marketing projects.
QA and review of final output and source files.

What you’ll bring

5+ years experience as a Motion Designer.
Outstanding showreel and portfolio with a diverse motion emphasis.
Possess strong experience in current production and post-production techniques.
Strong understanding of After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite latest releases, Blender, Cinema 4D, Figma.
Strong understanding of relevant plugins: Trapcode Suite, Plexus, Magic Bullet Suite.
Strong aesthetic skills and a deep understanding of typography, design elements, graphic design principles and best practices.
Experience with photography and videography.
Experience with sound design.
Experience in Firefly, Midjourney
Experience in Adobe Animate, Procreate and Toonboom a plus
Experience with AR
Ability to understand and contribute to creative strategy (by delivering compelling graphics and visuals that fit that strategy).
Ability to successfully manage time, process and workflow.
Ability to easily adapt to change and collaborate with different teams.
Attention to visual details.
Conceptual and analytical thinking.
Ability to translate concepts into motion graphics.
Ability to remain focused under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
A love for learning new things and exploring new formats.
