The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Junior Content Manager to join our ambitious, fast-growing new venture: Factor, a healthy, ready-to-eat meal subscription service, based in Amsterdam.
Join our fastest growing business Factor as Jr. Content Manager. Together with the Sr. Manager Growth, who you will be reporting into and working very closely with, you will really own the success of a new Factor market. While leveraging the confidence of a much bigger organization you are able to build long-lasting growth for your early stage startup. This is a truly dynamic position that blends creative copywriting with broader marketing collaboration, contributing to concept development and implementation while providing a valuable local market perspective. While copywriting will be your primary responsibility, as Jr. Content Manager you will collaborate closely with the Sr. Manager Growth and work on numerous other marketing projects together. These projects can span concept development (e.g. providing input for social media and product marketing campaigns) to hands-on implementation (e.g. supporting our Sr. Manager Growth in coordinating agencies, and even setting up local performance marketing channels such as Influencer Marketing, Inserting, Direct Sales etc.).

What you’ll do
You will be joining the central Factor team, but located in one of our beautiful HelloFresh offices in Amsterdam.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Create all customer-facing copy across all marketing channels (CRM, paid social, YouTube, TV, display, etc.), digital touch points (labels, UX/UI, mobile, etc.) as well as product (packaging, recipe info, meal stories, etc.)
- Craft marketing messages that engage and resonate with our customers, conveying the brands’s messages, benefits and USPs
- Collaborate closely with the Sr. Manager Growth and Brand Manager on marketing projects beyond copywriting, acting as additional sparring partners which can bring a local market perspective
- Support the concept development for general marketing campaigns e.g. for product marketing campaigns, social media, and PR campaigns
- Support local and global teams in rollouts of communication projects
- Support the Sr. Manager Growth to run a wide range of performance marketing channels e.g. Influencer Marketing, Direct Sales, Insert Marketing, Direct Mail, etc.
What you’ll bring
- Have a BS/MS degree from a top-tier university in communications, translation, marketing, or another related field of study
- Have excellent copywriting skills in your local language and strong proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Have a proven ability to create, adapt and translate engaging, customer-facing copy in different formats (various marketing channels, UX/UI, culinary/product)
- Have the ability to apply insights on local market culture and consumer behavior to copywriting, and are familiar with Dutch and Belgian culture and consumer behavior, especially related to food, technology, and commerce
- Have strong attention to detail and structure, securing high quality in all copy and growth marketing tactical work
- Have strong prioritization skills with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst adhering to (at times short) deadlines
- Have the ability to grasp a brand’s specific tone of voice, product and consumer base
- Are highly proactive and flexible, with willingness to contribute to other marketing initiatives
