About the team

HashiCorp is transforming how organizations provision, secure, and manage their infrastructure. As part of our expanding relationship with IBM and Red Hat, we’re seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager (TPMM) to lead technical go-to-market efforts for integrated solutions in the Security Lifecycle Management (SLM) portfolio — including Vault, Vault Radar, Consul, and Boundary — in combination with IBM and RedHat’s suite of products.

This role will bridge technical product capabilities and field enablement, driving the adoption of our joint solutions through world-class content, compelling messaging, technical training, and customer-facing engagements. You’ll be responsible for crafting messaging, enabling technical sales teams, and creating technical content that highlights how HashiCorp’s security solutions integrate with IBM technologies.

What you’ll do

Technical Product Messaging & Positioning

  • Develop and refine the technical messaging for HashiCorp’s security integrations with IBM and Red Hat, focusing on security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into value propositions for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Evaluate feature parity and integration depth across competitive solutions to craft differentiated positioning.

Technical Content Development

  • Create high-quality technical content such as solution briefs, white papers, presentations, demo scripts, best practice guides, blog posts, and videos.
  • Build and maintain demo environments and integration walkthroughs that showcase the capabilities of joint IBM–HashiCorp offerings.
  • Own the execution of technical product launches and release enablement in partnership with the broader marketing and product orgs.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Developer Advocacy, and Technical Field teams to align on integration capabilities, roadmap, and messaging.
  • Provide technical feedback from field and customer interactions to inform product and content strategy.

Sales Enablement & Internal Training

  • Develop technical training sessions, sales playbooks, and internal enablement content to empower field teams and partners.
  • Deliver live and recorded enablement sessions on integration use cases and deployment patterns.
  • Iterate on enablement assets based on feedback from customer-facing teams.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Represent HashiCorp in customer-facing demos, technical webinars, videos, and events.
  • Support pre-sales engagements and respond to technical product questions.
  • Evangelize joint solutions across industry events, user communities, and analyst briefings.

Competitive & Market Analysis

  • Monitor industry trends and competitive solutions relevant to security, automation, and hybrid cloud.
  • Conduct integration-specific competitive analysis and maintain differentiated messaging.

What you’ll need

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree preferred
  • 5–8 years of experience in technical product marketing, solutions engineering, or developer advocacy for cloud infrastructure, security platforms, or DevSecOps tools
  • Strong technical understanding of cloud security, infrastructure management, and enterprise IT environments
  • Demonstrated ability to create technical content (white papers, solution briefs, tutorials, demos, etc.) with accuracy, polish, and clarity
  • Proficiency with tools like Google Slides, Keynote, Camtasia, Loom, and Zoom for demo creation and content delivery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting to technical and executive audiences of all sizes
  • Strong project execution skills — able to take content from idea to launch independently
  • Willingness to travel for customer-facing events and internal meetings

What's nice to have

  • Experience with HashiCorp security products (Vault, Boundary, Consul, Vault Radar)
  • Experience working in co-sell or joint GTM environments involving strategic partners
  • Experience with IBM or Red Hat ecosystems in an integration or technical marketing capacity
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, HIPAA, ISO 27001) and enterprise security workflows

Self-Identification of Disability

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
