OVERVIEW

The Insights product is one of the products offering for Guidepoint's Institutional investment and corporate clients, that offers teleconferences, surveys, and in-person events. The teleconferences live in a transcript library portal, which covers a wide of industries/topics that enables our clients to make informed decisions. All content features experts from Guidepoint’s proprietary global network and is conceptualized and hosted by former investment professionals (i.e., private equity/hedge fund), sell-side equity research analysts, and industry professionals. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Manual transcription:

Listen to audio recordings and transcribe the spoken content into clear and accurate written text.
Review and edit transcriptions, generated by AI, to ensure they are free of errors and accurately reflect the original content.
Format transcriptions according to Guidepoint specifications and standards. Ensure Guidepoint editorial style guide and protocols are adhered to.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Meet deadlines for transcription projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Utilize transcription software and tools as needed.
Communicate with team members or team leader or QA leads to clarify any uncertainties regarding the content or format.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

Bachelor’s degree
Previous experience (2+ years) in transcribing for specific industries (e.g., legal, medical, financial)
Certification or training in transcription is a plus.
Familiarity with transcription software and tools is a plus.
Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Excellent listening skills and the ability to comprehend various accents and speech patterns.
Proficiency in typing with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment; Effective time management and organizational skills
