The Insights product is one of the products offering for Guidepoint's Institutional investment and corporate clients, that offers teleconferences, surveys, and in-person events. The teleconferences live in a transcript library portal, which covers a wide of industries/topics that enables our clients to make informed decisions. All content features experts from Guidepoint’s proprietary global network and is conceptualized and hosted by former investment professionals (i.e., private equity/hedge fund), sell-side equity research analysts, and industry professionals. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Manual transcription and QA:

Listen to audio recordings and transcribe the spoken content into clear and accurate written text.
Review and edit transcriptions, generated by AI or team members, to ensure they are free of errors and accurately reflect the original content.
Manage the team of manual transcribers with an aim to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and maintain a high level of output quality from the team.
Create objective scorecards to measure productivity of the team and determine quality of the transcription.
Collaborating with team members to clarify unclear audio segments and resolve any discrepancies to ensure high-quality transcription.
Format transcriptions according to Guidepoint specifications and standards. Ensure Guidepoint editorial style guide and protocols are adhered to.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Meet deadlines for transcription projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Utilize transcription software and tools as needed.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

Bachelor’s degree
Previous experience (5+ years) of managing team of transcribers across different industries (e.g., legal, medical, financial)
Certification or training in transcription is a plus.
Familiarity with transcription software and tools is a plus.
Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment; Effective time management and organizational skills
