YOUR MISSION

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Intern who wants to join our People's team in our office in Barcelona, Spain. If you are someone who loves working in a fast-paced startup environment, a true perfectionist, an organization freak and are passionate about Health and Safety processes, Glovo is your place!

THE JOURNEY

  • Ensure execution of Health and Safety administrative tasks according to Spanish law such as:
    • Manage EPIs.
    • Follow up on medical checks.
    • Train and promote best practices to employees at all levels.
  • Support during investigation of occupational accidents and diseases.
  • Manage new hires' onboarding.
  • Health surveillance support.
  • Follow up on the activities to be carried out by the external H&S provider (risk assessments, medical checks, etc.).
  • Collaborate with other Team members to ensure compliance with H&S requirements in other countries or working centers.
  • Support in the preparation of risk assessments, different procedures and protocols.
  • Support in Internal Audits.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Studying or recently completed a Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety (Técnico superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales), including Safety, Hygiene and Ergonomic and Psychosociology according to Spanish Health & Safety regulations
  • Available for a 6-month internship, working 40 hours/week.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Tech savvy, ability to learn to use new tools
  • Organized, proactive and creative.
  • Hands-on profile/mindset.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Great communication skills.
