FleishmanHillard is seeking qualified candidates for our Alfred Fleishman Diversity Fellowship. Fellows contribute to client projects and gain practical experience in the field of integrated communications from some of the industry’s best counselors. We have positions available across several disciplines and specialty areas including brand marketing, corporate reputation, media relations and social media integration. Our ideal candidate will join us full-time 40 hours per week starting in January 2025. This is a hybrid role based in our Atlanta office.

The Alfred Fleishman Diversity Fellowship is an industry-leading program that offers the opportunity for individuals to combine their communication talents with their passion for diversity and inclusion. The paid fellowships are 6 to 12 months in length and offer benefits, professional development opportunities and a mentor program.

Responsibilities

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about communications and eager to bring a diverse perspective to their client work and agency DE&I initiatives. Fellows have the opportunity to be part of account teams and assist with campaign conception to execution, conducting research, developing media materials, building relationships with journalists, managing and drafting social content, tracking and analyzing results and other account-related activities. Fellows will also have the opportunity to contribute to office and agency DE&I initiatives.

Qualifications

  • College grad (undergraduate or graduate) with the ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Central Time and for a minimum of six months starting in January 2025. The ability to work in-person at least three days per week.
  • A strong career interest in integrated communications. A background or strong interest in working with clients in the healthcare spaces is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms from a professional perspective (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • A demonstrated passion for ethnic or cultural diversity and experience advocating for DE&I in either the work, school or volunteer setting.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills, strong time management ability.
  • Previous internship or equivalent experience in communications, public relations, marketing or advertising.

The anticipated pay rate for this position is $41,600 - 45,760.

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.
