Position Summary:
- Develop analytical methods to support the characterization of novel therapeutic technologies including nucleic acids, nanoparticles, and more
- Analyze internal and external materials intended for further in vitro and in vivo evaluation
- Support the build-out of PMs new lab by identifying cutting-edge technologies, high throughput screening, and automated analytical equipment
- Identify, select, and support key external partners including for additional development and sample analysis
- Support the method development and validation for multiple programs including both standard emerging modalities
- Investigate the stability and characteristics of drug products for pre-clinical & clinical use
- Work with cross-functional teams supporting the analytical strategies of partner companies and external research organizations
- Represent Pioneering Medicines as a subject matter expert in analytical development, product characterization
- Routinely document and present data to key stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education in Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or relevant scientific discipline
- PhD with 2+ years, MS with 5+ years, or BS with 7+ years drug delivery experience
- Experience with LNP and/or Drug Delivery analysis is ideal
- Experience in nucleic acid therapeutics is valuable
- Experience in a GMP working environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required
- Domestic and occasional international travel may be required
