EDB is seeking a dynamic and experienced VP, Global Professional Services, to lead and scale our post-sales services organization, ensuring successful onboarding, implementation, and ongoing customer value realization. As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive customer satisfaction, retention and growth by delivering high-impact, repeatable services that support our EDB PG AI Platform and Solutions. 
This role will be responsible for building a world-class services organization, developing strategic-service offerings, and ensuring strong alignment between customer success, product, sales and support functions. 

Your impact will be:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Set the vision and strategy for the professional services organization, aligning with company goals and customer needs
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of project managers, implementation consultants, and technical experts
  • Define and drive the professional services business model, including revenue targets, utilization goals and margin optimization

Service Delivery Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of implementation projects, custom solutions, and technical engagements with enterprise and mid-market customers
  • Ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and with high customer satisfaction
  • Develop standard methodologies, tools and frameworks to ensure consistent, scalable delivery across projectsDevelop partner strategies to enhance and supplement the services needs of our global customers

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a senior executive sponsor and trusted advisor to key clients
  • Partner with Sales to implement scalable growth strategies to identify and drive expansion opportunities within the customer base as well as increasing retention.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to enhance the customer experience, including serving as a key stakeholder in influencing product roadmap based on external customer needs and expectations.
  • Drive customer advocacy and identify expansion opportunities through services-led engagements

Operational Performance:

  • Establish KPIs to measure success across delivery, revenue, margin and customer satisfaction
  • Implement systems and processes to improve efficiency, forecast resource needs, and manage project pipelines
  • Own the services P&L, including revenue forecasting, cost control and profitability

What you will bring:

  • 15+ years of demonstrated leadership in managing the financial performance of a services organization, delivering industry standard gross margins and metrics via effective resource allocation, utilization optimization and rigorous project cost control
  • Proven success leading services organizations through growth and transformation
  • Strong background in customer engagement, project delivery, and solution consulting
  • Experience managing P&L and driving revenue growth through value-added services
  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data driven decision maker
  • 20% travel
