We’re seeking a Sr. Renewal Operations Manager to act as a thought leader on renewals lifecycle and process, being responsible for the successful execution of EDB’s renewals strategy. Own/drive a standard playbook and workflow which optimizes through people, process, data and technology in a consistent and effective way for all regions. 

The Sr. Renewal Operations Manager will develop global consistency by owning the operational components in partnership with regional renewal teams who report into Regional VP’s of Sales. The role will report into and be supported by the SVP of Revenue Operations

What your impact will be:

  • Work with senior leaders and our renewal stakeholder community to develop and execute strategies to increase customer retention and lifetime value.
  • Influencing and partnering Renewal Managers in each region in a matrix organization, reporting to the SVP of Revenue Operations.  Optimize on overall renewal workflow, reporting and ultimately effectiveness measured by our retention rates.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues affecting our ability to execute our renewals strategy and provide management oversight to ensure appropriate resolution and long term initiatives to improve core renewal metrics.
  • Tracking and reporting on key metrics affecting GTM renewals, working with our data teams to build the visualization, insights and reporting standards but layering in context for management consumption and decision support.
  • Implementing appropriate governance to ensure policies and processes are adhered to together with controls to bring integrity of renewals data across core business systems. 
  • Work closely with the GTM Tools and Technology teams on process and system requirements to connect data insights and signals to the workflows to boost productivity and customer experience across the customer lifecycle.
  • Partnering extensively with teams across EDB, including but not limited to Deal Desk, Finance, Revenue Operations,, Renewal Managers, Sales Executives, Customer Success Managers.
  • Develop the ability to learn through this customer lifecycle and feed those insights back to our leadership teams across product, marketing and sales to contribute to a customer feedback loop that drives better outcomes for our customers and business. 

What you will bring:

  • Structure, continuous improvement and a desire to use operational efficiency to drive business results.
  • Strong collaboration and communications skills to allow you to lead through a matrix structure.
  • Experience of redefining and driving results in a renewal motion or other GTM area.
  • Understanding of Salesloft, Salesforce and using data to create signals.
