Director of Business Intelligence/Analytics 

The Role & The Team:

The Business Intelligence team is responsible for all data driven insights and activations of those data sets into operational cadence and business process optimizations for Druva. We are seeking a Director of Business Intelligence/Analytics that will lead data to insights recommendation engine and stakeholder engagement. This is a high impact role that will offer exposure to the Executive team, collaborate with highly skilled engineers & product teams and leverage industry leading data stack/tools.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a strategic advisor on data and insights for cross-functional stakeholders in GTM, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering and a liaison to the technical engineering teams
  • Build dashboards and custom reports to track key metrics, empower other team members with data, and investigate business questions and offer recommendations that align with Corp and BU goals
  • Play an active role in strategic & operational planning discussions and in some case lead cross functional transformational programs
  • Ability and willingness to negotiate and prioritize requests with stakeholders and translate them into detailed roadmaps and project plan
  • Coach and guide data analysts and engineering teams on focusing on right business problems and articulate what outcomes and benefits to all stakeholders
  • Contribute to Architectural stack analysis to scale DataOps, Data Management, Data strategy (Reverse ETL, Operational Analytics, MDM/Customer 360, Advanced Analytics, Generative AI/ML, Data Apps/Data Fabric)

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or related discipline, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis and experience analyzing large datasets to solve business problems and presenting results
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses 
  • Ability to take loosely defined business questions and translate them into clearly defined technical/data specifications
  • Experience working directly in the SaaS space, bonus to have experience working with GTM and/or Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams 
  • Experience defining requirements, SDLC/Agile methods, data modeling and data architecture concepts
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders relating to insights, performance analysis, data and workflows digital transformation
  • Experience with a modern BI stack with tools such as dbt, Looker, Sigma, Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx, Atlan, Alation, Census
  • Experience with Microsoft Office/Google Suite, Salesforce, SQL and/or Python, AI/ML, Knowledge of fundamental statistical concepts for data analysis
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams

 

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $190,000 and $266,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized, non-discriminatory factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, and equity. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program, including health and wellness benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
