Job summary
We are looking for an individual to join our team as a Data Privacy Analyst to support DigiCert’s Data Privacy Program.
As a Data Privacy Analyst, you will work under the direction of DigiCert’s Data Privacy Officer / Associate General Counsel and will be responsible for helping with the ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of the global privacy program in accordance with business strategy and compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
What you will do
- Manage data subject rights intake and fulfillment process
- Regularly assess vendor management risk & conduct vendor assessments for new vendors
- Assist with documenting and updating the company’s data inventory
- Aid in the development and deployment of privacy training and awareness efforts for the company
- Help create and manage essential privacy program documentation for both the privacy team and the company
- Help project manage and conduct data protection impact assessments and privacy impact assessments for new product offerings, programs, and systems
- Help assess and improve privacy compliance for businesses acquired by DigiCert, during due diligence process and after acquisition
- Serve as a data privacy advocate throughout the organization
- Research and monitor the evolving global privacy landscape as well as stay informed about data privacy news, technology, and best practices
- Help with inquiries/audits from customers and government regulators about DigiCert’s privacy program and practices
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
What you will have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience
- 2+ years of experience in privacy, information security, or information technology law
- Privacy certification such as CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (i.e., GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, and LGPD) and privacy standards (I.e., NIST, GAPP, ISO)
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Detail-oriented and highly motivated
- Comfortable working both independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with project management
- Experience managing complex projects
- Background in customer service
- Knowledge or experience with digital certificate industry
