This Role Contributes to the Organization By:

Prospecting to identify stakeholders within organizations, pro actively engaging, generating interest and securing meetings for the Company's sales team. As the first point of contact for potential customers, the SDR sets the tone on how the Company engages with stakeholders and will be impactful in the attainment of revenue goals. We are seeking someone with 1-2 years of experience, excited for growth, able to work hybrid (1-2 days/week - Oak Brook Terrace location), with a strategic sales mindset. 

Essential Job Functions “What You’ll Do”:

  • Drive the sales pipeline by proactively identifying and qualifying new prospects through various channels such as customized lists, outbound phone calls, video calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Coordinate and schedules meetings and demonstrations for account executives and account directors, ensures smooth transition and clear communication to ensure opportunities are understood and next steps are clearly identified.
  • Maintain data integrity in the Company's customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales tools, with accurate records for leads, contacts, and opportunities.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align efforts, shares feedback, and continuously refines outreach strategies.
  • Meet activity standards for pipeline management objectives which includes prospecting, opportunity creation, completed meetings and identifying value.
  • If assigned to inbound traffic queue; engages, qualifies, and addresses inbound inquiries through the Company's website; ensures every potential client is given prompt attention.

Essential Qualifications “What You’ll Need”:  

  • Bachelor's Degree sales, business, marketing, communications, or related discipline/equivalent preferred.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in sales development or customer success with a knowledge of the sales cycle and a proven track record in developing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Commitment to the continual mastery of methodological/trackable sales process through training, study, and creativity with a strong desire to achieve expectations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in both a verbal and written manner.
  • Strong Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Zoom and Slack skills.
  • Knowledge in the SaaS (Software as a Service) arena, experience using sales enablement applications (i.e. Sales Navigator LinkedIn).
  • Ability to present value propositions.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and multitask while adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Possess a growth mindset, consistently working to improve skills and adapt in a constantly changing environment.
