The Opportunity: 

Culture Biosciences is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to fuel our inbound lead generation engine and to take our product marketing to the next level. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced B2B product marketer who is looking to join a team of mission-driven colleagues who are kind, empathetic, and curious. 

What you'll do:

  • Set a vision for how Product Marketing operates at Culture
  • Be the voice of our customers and leverage research insights to create more compelling campaigns and messaging and to influence product development
  • Develop and evolve product positioning and messaging that convey the unique value of our offering to the market
  • Own the strategy and execution for our website architecture and content
  • Collaborate with BD on collateral that best articulates our products’ benefits to prospects
  • Work with product management on go-to-market strategies for the launch of new service offerings and define goals and metrics for product launches

About you:

  • You’re interested in helping businesses use biomanufacturing to make an impact on climate change, human health, food systems, and materials.
  • You’re an experienced B2B product marketer - you have experience both setting a strategic vision for product marketing and overseeing its execution and implementation.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of cross-functional collaboration - especially with Sales and Product leaders - to create consensus and excitement.
  • You make decisions based on market research, data analytics, and user feedback - you seek to deeply understand a market and to continuously validate hypotheses with data.
  • You are an empathetic story-teller, with a history of translating customer pain points into compelling marketing copy, visuals, and assets to support sales.

Location & Schedule:

  • This is a remote-flexible position. We’re looking for someone based in the San Francisco Bay Area who is able to work in person at our office in South San Francisco at least 1 day per week, on Wednesdays.
