About You:  

As a pivotal part of the Convene Sales Team we are looking for an Agency Sales Executive to join the Inbound Sales Team in the UK. The Agency Sales Executive will support qualifying agency business from our Global agency partners and focus on qualifying agency opportunities, maintaining channel listings and supporting sales efforts toward agency partners globally. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • The aim of the Agency Sales Executive will be to increase conversion from our agency partners, ensure a more efficient qualification process, improved resource utilization and work with our marketing and Agency / Partnership team to improve channel maintenance (mainly CVENT, VenueDirectory and Conference Care) 
  • Your primary duties will include discovery, qualification and full management of all inbound agency leads for under 30. All lead generation activities are recorded, tracked and measured using Hubspot and Salesforce (ConveneOS) 
  • You will drives revenue for the portfolio through the qualification of all Inbound Agency opportunities via targeted portals 
  • To optimize and increase conversion for agency business 
  • Lead on qualification and conversion of agency enquiries via targeted portals (where the end client is unowned) for under 30 - processing bookings up to contract and where required, attends site visits 
  • Alongside the Senior Sales Executive (Inbound), ensure enquiries for 31 or more people, upon qualification, are directed to the correct Account Executive / Account Manager / Account Owner / Enterprise Team Owner within the business and making sure to capture and share all booking requirements 
  • Cultivate and maintain great agency relationships throughout the entire booking process - Handle a high volume and deal professionally and effectively with all opportunities on a daily basis, and in line with the standard operating procedures
  • Support team management, and the wider teams in their reporting by ensuring CRM (inclusive of funnel notes) is updated in line with expectations and provides clear and accurate activities 
  • Maintains strong working relationships with all sales colleagues, globally and at venue / operations level 
  • Ensure any Agency level SLA’s are met and all incoming enquiries are responded in a timely manner 

What we’ll look for: 

We need someone that enjoys building long term relationships and building contacts. Someone excited by the idea of connecting with agents while qualifying and actioning prospective business opportunities. Knowledge of agency business and agency portals is desired but not necessary.
