About the role: 

The Tax Project Manager will lead and manage a range of tax-related projects and administrative initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery. This role is responsible for coordinating project schedules, allocating resources, and maintaining organized documentation, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and process optimization. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional project management expertise, a keen eye for administrative detail, and advanced skills in team coordination and communication. This role requires a proactive approach to anticipate project needs, foster collaboration, and uphold high standards of project execution.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within resources
  • Communicate project updates and progress to the tax team
  • Monitor, evaluate and present project performance, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies
  • Manage project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project deliverables
  • Support the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance project effectiveness and efficiency
  • Supporting tax return preparation and filing by organizing workpapers, saving government copies, and coordinating the resolution of tax-related issues
  • Managing and sending eSignature requests to Collective members to facilitate timely tax return filings
  • Maintaining, organizing, and ensuring the accuracy of tax records and documentation for compliance and easy retrieval
  • Addressing tax administration inquiries through Front/Zendesk and Slack to ensure responsive and efficient support
  • Reviewing and reconciling Practice CS accounts, identifying and correcting any discrepancies
  • Assisting in the development and refinement of tax policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency
  • Handling PCS onboarding for new members and offboarding for departing members to maintain accurate and current records
  • Conducting audits of tax-related documents in Hub to ensure completeness and accuracy

What we want you to bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 2+ years of experience in project management or administrative roles, ideally within offshoring or remote service environments
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong skills in time management, prioritization, and project coordination
  • Proven track record in managing and resolving project-related conflicts with a focus on positive outcomes
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed to support project or team objectives
