About the Role:

As a Director of Commercial Strategy, you will build and execute on Commercial pipeline opportunities and partnerships for Click’s product portfolio. The role reports to the Senior Director of Global Commercial Strategy and will work closely with the Alliance Management, Business Development, Product, Program Management, Science, and Strategy teams. Specifically, you will oversee all Commercial aspects of pipeline development, which will include providing feedback on early-stage assets, supporting Commercial strategy discussions for existing external partnerships, and establishing the Commercial story to support further development. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the selection of commercial partnerships, including building relationships with existing or new partners, scoping Click’s commercial role in the partnership, and leading and executing the work.  

We are looking for someone with a strong background in both the US and preferably ex-US markets for pharmaceuticals or medical technology / devices that has worked across the commercial function (distribution, market access, marketing, pricing, sales, etc.). If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, are success-oriented and have a strong record of working in the pharma space and building teams, you may be the right candidate.

This position is based out of Click’s headquarters located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. We have a hybrid working model that consists of at least 2-3 days in office each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and being accountable for the Commercial team’s partnership responsibilities for select biopharma partnerships, including assessing unbranded market development needs, establishing the supporting infrastructure for the asset, and signaling opportunities and risks to the future commercial launch
  • Co-leading work-streams with external partner resources to strategize and drive forward Commercial-related tasks 
  • Serving as an internal consultant to the Senior Director and Business Development team when pursuing new pipeline and partnership opportunities, such as strategic visioning, due diligence and planning on partnerships 
  • Participating in tactical execution of new partnership development, such as reviewing term sheets, understanding market potential, considering competitors, etc. as they relate to partnership deals 
  • Sharing cross-learnings of processes and activities between our pharma partners and our internal program

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or other advanced degree preferred)
  • 10-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech (Commercial strategy, franchise or brand global teams, sales, market access, pricing, marketing), project management, corporate communications, or a related field
  • 7-10 years experience managing and executing on relationships with internal (cross-matrix teams) and/or external partners (consulting clients, co-promote partnerships, etc.)
  • Strong leadership experience in Commercial Strategy such as Market Access, Commercialization, and Launch Management (US and & ex-US preferred) 
  • Prior pharmaceutical product launch experience
  • Prior experience working with pipeline assets in phase III or earlier
  • Extensive experience or knowledge of the US prescription markets such as market landscapes, value assessments, regulatory environments and requisite timelines
  • Demonstrated understanding of cross functional commercial areas, including sales, marketing analytics, payer, pricing, and sales training
  • Proven ability to conceive, develop and implement business plans for products in various markets
  • Ability to analyze complex data and information and develop key strategies and solutions to address issues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures, and disciplines
  • Ability to travel within and outside of the US as needed 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of, or experience with, Digital Therapeutics and/or Prescription Digital Therapeutics is considered a plus
  • Expertise in at least one of the following commercial functions: Marketing, Field Sales, Sales Enablement, Commercial Excellence, Pricing & Contracting
