About the Role:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role provides tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives. HRBP’s are tasked to ensure human resource policy and procedure throughout the organization fit the needs, goals, and aims of the organization and its leadership by streamlining HR functions, reporting on HR metrics, enhancing workforce retention, predicting staffing needs, managing termination processes, managing risk, ensuring staff wellness and ensuring compliance regulations. Will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations consultation; policy interpretation and application, performance and compensation management consultation; and talent management consultation. This individual is a trusted strategic advisor to the staff and business leaders.

Generally positions at Click can be on-site, remote or hybrid (an optimal combination of remote and on-site). Our headquarters is located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. We also have dedicated spaces in central Miami, San Francisco, and Boston, and, in addition, via our partnership with Industrious, any Click employee can access co-working locations nationally.

  • Conduct Employee investigations and provide recommendation for resolution.
  • Provides day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development; and organizational design consultation.
  • Coach functional leadership on issues including application of HR policies and processes, restructuring, and complex employee issues.
  • Partners with Chief People Officer (CPO) and Business leaders on managing the annual performance and salary reviews.
  • Close partnership with Finance and Quality Management on various aspects of the People, compliance and business functions.
  • Assist in analyzing various HR systems and processes.
  • Partners with the CPO and appropriate Click leaders to execute and implement large scale HR initiatives (i.e., roll out annual programs, new programs/policies, etc.). Conduct exit interviews, analyze data for trends, and make recommendations for change as appropriate.
  • Familiar with complex FMLA, Worker’s Comp, STD and LTD issues.
  • Create, update and implement HR policies and procedures as needed across the company.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business-related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of HR experience with at least one (1) years of experience in an HR Business Partner role.
  • Multi-site location client support experience a plus.
  • Previous experience in coaching employees and management through complex, difficult issues.
  • Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR including employment law & compliance requirements.
  • Proven client management and business literacy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proven knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components to include sourcing; qualifying; networking; assessing; selling and wage/salary trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to set high personal goals and work independently.
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to make recommendation to effectively resolve problems or issues.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Proven acuity in MS office suite, internet and data-base management.
  • Up to 10% travel required.
