What You Will Be Doing
- Research, design and develop contemporary wireless platforms (4G/5G cellular, WiFi, BlueTooth/BLE, RFID/NFC, etc.)
- Develop embedded antenna designs customized for ChargePoint products
- Deliver agency and carrier certified designs optimized for multiple dimensions including cost, reliability and feature richness
- Develop from the lowest levels of circuit design to full-scale system design and see those systems all the way through to volume manufacturing and field deployment
- Lead the development of RF testers for use on the manufacturing line
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Strong background in RF and wireless engineering principles including antenna technologies
- Experience designing RF circuitry including front ends, LNAs, power amplifiers, etc.
- Familiarity with modulator/demodulator operation and solid understanding of how to optimize radio performance in high noise environments
- Must be hands-on, inventive, diligent, curious, and creative as well as fanatical about cost, quality, and building market leading products
- Able to drive solutions across software, mechanical, power and thermal boundaries to assure great results
- Knowledge of various RF test techniques utilized in manufacturing environments
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing complex wireless products
- Proven record of successful cellular and WiFi/BT designs moving into production
- Experience with PTCRB & other types of certification testing
- Analog, digital and RF circuit design experience
- Proficient with OrCAD & Allegro design tools
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree preferred
Location
Campbell, CA
ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $85,000 to $220,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
