WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Senior Manager, Curriculum, you will lead a team of learning experience designers to create eLearning courses, instructor-led training materials, role and skill-based learning paths and exams, product demos, use case education, and more.
You'll help drive innovative new ways to propel customers toward achieving their goals with the Braze platform and marketing strategy in general. You'll lead the creation of learning paths to help educate Braze administrators, marketers, and developers. Long-form and short-form, in-person and in-product. We aspire to meet the customer where they are, to be there when they need us. Braze Learning, our site for customer and partner education content, can help by serving up a quick solution or setting the foundation for a career.
In this role, you will own the Curriculum roadmap and forge strong partnerships with teams across Braze to identify, scope, and prioritize development of education solutions to help our customers and partners succeed. You will also manage a team of content developers and implement processes for standardized, and scalable approaches to instructional design work.
You will also work with the Learning Engagement and Operations Teams to set goals and benchmarks for your team.
The mission of the Customer and Partner education team is to empower our customers and partners with a comprehensive understanding of Customer Engagement best practices and Braze capabilities creating a community of customer engagement experts. We are committed to delivering high-quality, accessible education so that every customer has the opportunity to fully leverage our products to drive their business KPIs. In doing so, we will enhance customer experience, build lasting partnerships, promote better business outcomes, and reduce customer churn.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of 5 LXDs
- Developing and owning the content roadmap for the Customer and Partner Education team, prioritizing and weighing input from stakeholders across the broader business
- Guide the development of training/courseware for Customers, Partners, and Resellers
- Working cross-functionally to communicate new content and coordinate with SMEs
- Support the Training team with learning design resources
- Establish and achieve goals around customer education, high value actions, product adoption, CSAT, etc.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have at least 5+ years of managing an education/learning team
- You have experience managing up and down within a company
- You can work collaboratively across teams to communicate and execute company-wide initiatives
- You are data-driven and always measure progress
- You're comfortable working in the technical details of management, learning experience design, and technical products
- You take and give feedback constructively, in a supportive way
- You are a self-starter who’s driven, meticulous, and communicative
Abilities required:
- Experience creating a content roadmap or educational program, ideally involving digital tools
- Curriculum development or learning experience design background
- Experience creating learning programs in SaaS
- Team management and development
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Project management
Bonus:
- Braze dashboard proficiency
- Experience with Sanity CMS or Skilljar LMS
- Experience in marketing technology
- Computer programming or software development background
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $144,000 - $157,500/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $160,000 - $175,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
