What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join our growing Internal Audit Team. The Internal Auditor will have internal audit experience working with Software/SaaS companies or in public accounting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience identifying and addressing financial, operational, compliance and technology risks throughout the organization. As an Internal Auditor, you will assist the Internal Audit team in the end-to-end internal audit lifecycle (risk management, planning, fieldwork, reporting and remediation tracking) and SOX program with support from our co-sourced providers. This role will work closely with Finance, Technology and Growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in  SOX compliance activities including risk assessments, scoping, planning, testing, deficiency analysis and reporting
  • Assist in risk based internal audits including planning, fieldwork and reporting
  • Assist with periodic Audit Committee reporting
  • Assist in system implementation reviews for newly implemented financial systems
  • Identify improvements to process and controls to improve process efficiencies and add value
  • Monitor implementation of agreed upon actions to address process or control recommendations
  • Coordinate with external auditors and control owners on audit related matters
  • Leverage  data analytics and dashboard reporting to support operational audits and the SOX program
  • Assist in audit projects as requested by management
  • Build positive relationships across management and team members at all levels to effectively deliver audit solutions and contribute directly to business success

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, MIS or related area
  • 2 years minimum relevant experience, including Public Accounting or  Software/SaaS or Technology industry experience
  • Experience with internal control concepts and frameworks (COSO, COBIT, ITGC, SOX business processes, ISO 27001)
  • Experience in testing of business processes, IT General Controls, IT Application controls and key reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely interface with all levels of management
  • Strong multi-tasking skills; organized and great attention to details
  • Experience using Workiva SOX compliance platform is a plus
  • Understanding of Scrum framework is a plus
  • Experience with SQL scripting and using analytics tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI and Looker is a plus
  • Experience in auditing infrastructure as a service and database as a service providers is a plus
