Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

To reach SMB’s where they are, BILL is building a platform for partners. Partners can range in size and span a variety of industries. This is our next phase of growth. Your role as part of the partnerships platform team will be to lead the development of scalable UX solutions for partners. These UX solutions can represent standalone BILL “jobs to be done” and/or be strung together into a partner configurable end-to-end application; your focus will primarily be on the end-to-end application. In order to effectively accomplish this goal, you will need to work cross-functionally with design, engineering, LRC stakeholders (legal, risk, compliance), business development, and product managers across the company. You will be a product owner, working directly with a scrum master / engineering manager to deliver requirements to an engineering team. At times, you’ll also need to interface with partners to understand their requirements and/or represent the solutions you have developed.

Partnerships are a critical growth engine for BILL as it will allow us to embed our functionality and extend our reach.

Your scope covers:

  • Representing our partners in all builds by deeply understanding partner needs
  • Involvement in partner solution assessment, including meeting directly with partners and hosting partner workshops
  • Consideration of the partner onboarding experience for your solutions and continual management / improvement of how partners interact with BILL
  • Developing strong value-based metrics and goals that guide iterative learning and delivery; you’ll need to validate solutions to customer problems as they evolve over time
  • Building UX solutions for partners in collaboration with research, design, and engineering teams
  • Contemplation of how to build truly scalable products that suit the majority of partner use cases
  • Challenging the status quo to better BILL’s existing product experiences and ensure we’re delivering intuitive yet robust solutions to our partners

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • A passion for building great technical and customer experience products
  • A growth mindset based in curiosity and data-driven learning approaches
  • A get-stuff-done attitude propelled by a strong sense of accountability and a positive self-starter energy
  • An approach to problems that start with the customer, explore a multitude of options, and rely on strong relationships to make sound decisions
  • Experience crafting a compelling product vision demonstrating the ability to think strategically
  • Experience driving impact through cross-functional teams by facilitating critical conversations and making hard prioritization choices
  • Experience in client facing interactions/roles
  • 7+ years of professional experience in product management or cumulative experience when combined with a related technical field
