We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Analytics Engineer to join our data team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between data engineers and analysts, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into a clean, organized, and efficient data structure, ensuring that stakeholders have access to reliable insights and metrics.
We are looking for enthusiastic and resourceful engineers who have a keen interest in both business and technology. You want to help teams make informed decisions and have the ability to put yourself in your stakeholders’ shoes, allowing you to develop solutions that enable the business to be data-led, and have a deeper understanding of their business unit. You have a good understanding of modern data stacks and a background in working with SQL and/or BI tools. You have vast experience in transforming raw data to a clean and usable form.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Data Modeling & Transformation: Own and enhance the transformation layer in our BI and Data environment.
- Use Snowflake and DBT to design, model, and transform data for accurate, scalable, and performant analysis, tailored to the business's needs.
- Dashboard & Interface Design: Partner with business units to understand their needs and questions, then design intuitive, impactful dashboards and interfaces in Qlik.
- You'll empower stakeholders to perform their own analysis, telling stories through data to drive informed decisions.
- Collaboration & Impact: Work closely with teams across the business, translating complex business questions into actionable data solutions.
- You'll champion data usability, adoption, and impact, directly driving business performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Prioritize the development, maintenance, and improvement of analytics-ready data in the data warehouse.
- Ensure data is structured, unambiguous, and accessible for insightful analysis.

What You'll Need
- Experience in a BI and data-focused environment with 2+ years working with SQL as a primary language.
- Proven success in building and maintaining data transformations using modern tools and techniques, especially DBT.
- Expertise in data modeling best practices, with strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
- Simplicity-focused Ability to devise straightforward solutions to complex problems, balancing technical robustness with user-friendly outcomes.
- Familiarity with data engineering tools, software engineering practices, and version control systems (e.g., GitHub)
- An interest in teaching and knowledge-sharing, contributing to team growth through sessions, documentation, or blog posts.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse (Redshift, BigQuery).
- Experience with Qlik Sense or other BI visualization tools, such as Power BI.
- A background in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
One or more of the following will help you stand out:
- Experience with DBT
- Experience with at least one major Cloud Data Warehouse Solution (eg. Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Experience with GitHub or other version control repositories
- Data visualisation / BI tools like QlikSense or PowerBI
- Computer Science / Software Engineering experience/training
