We are seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join our team and play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations. This position focuses on creating scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring seamless deployments in a cloud-first environment.

Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code templates using tools like Terraform or Ansible to manage cloud resources effectively. - Pipeline Management:
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support agile development and deployment cycles, ensuring high-quality deliverables. - Collaboration:
Work closely with developers, platforms teams, and infrastructure engineers to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability. - Monitoring and Incident Response:
Participate in monitoring and logging activities, conduct system health checks, and promptly respond to incidents to maintain uptime and system performance. - Scripting and Automation:
Write and manage scripts in languages like Go, Bash, or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency. - Containerization:
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using tools like Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-based environments. - Source Control Management:
Utilize Git for version control, manage branches, and contribute to collaborative development workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- 2+ years of experience scripting in Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
- 1+ years of experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Solid understanding of source control tools and collaboration workflows using Git.
- Collaboration: Effectively partners with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Problem-Solving: Displays initiative in identifying issues and resolving them with innovative solutions.
- Time Management: Handles multiple priorities efficiently and meets deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Communication: Clearly communicates technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with monitoring tools and observability solutions.
- Basic understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of or exposure with Terragrunt and Terratest

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $120,000 to $140,000.
The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
