Sr. Accounting Specialist, General Ledger
Job Description: As Sr. Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the month-end accounting activities especially prepaid accounting. Besides, this role will also include providing the required support for Corporate Audit with review of Customer Contracts.
What will your job look like:
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly accounting activities with adherence to the Close Calendar
- Preparing and posting journal entries with accuracy.
- Prepaid Accounting
- Supporting Audit with review of Customer Contracts
- Assisting on various tasks related to SOX Compliance
- Assist with other Audit requirements including running reports, analysis and reconciliations.
An Ideal Candidate will have:
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Commerce
- 2-4 years of experience in General Ledger/Billing
- Experience working on ERP (Oracle/Workday)
- Well versed with MS-Excel
- Good Communication skills
Qualifications
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree or relevant technical experiences

Working Arrangements
- regular work hours from Monday through Friday or as defined by assignment requirements. Occasional weekend monitoring.
