Our Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Global Product and Technology Organization will be part of an innovative, collaborative, and transparent finance team supporting our technology organization.  Work closely with the Finance team to support the financial planning cycle and maximize the impact of investments in Technology.  Drive outstanding financial results by enabling and accelerating Anaplan’s strategic execution. You’ll be an active contributor to cross-functional teams across Anaplan.  What makes this role truly unique and exciting is the partnership with the technology team developing and innovating on the financial tool you will use daily!   

As a member of the Global Product and Technology Organization Finance Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Anaplan’s financial strategy and technological investments. Collaborate with senior leaders and influence the future direction of financial management practices. Be part of a dynamic team that driving financial innovation and strategic investment at the highest levels of the organization. 

Your Impact

  • Financial Close & Reporting: Lead monthly financial close activities. Prepare journal entries (end-of-period accruals, reclass entries), create reporting, and drive analysis around monthly expense variances. Support monthly and quarterly business review processes. Collaborate closely with Corporate Accounting to ensure correct accounting treatment of transactional activities.
  • Forecasting & Analytics: Support annual financial planning cycle; ensure budget alignment with strategic roadmap and profitability targets.  Use Anaplan models to automate and scale current processes. 
  • Business Partnership: Partner cross-functionally to drive data-driven decisions such as software allocation and infrastructure investment prioritization.  

Your Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related Finance experience in a high-growth SaaS environment 
  • Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to build financial models to assess profitability and cost analysis.  
  • Ability to analyze budgeted and actual performance, and communicate variances to financial and non-financial stakeholders. 
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage several priorities. 
  • Strong critical thinking skills to address financial issues or inefficiencies and provide actionable recommendations. 
  • Experience with SaaS/Cloud Computing business models a plus
