At Alamar, we are passionate about enabling our customers to make scientific discoveries that translate into clinical outcomes and benefit patients. Our team is growing quickly as we develop innovative approaches to measure critical protein biomarkers from liquid samples that can enable the earliest possible detection of disease. We believe the next frontier in biology is enabled by measuring proteins at higher sensitivity in highly multiplexed assays at the push of a button, which is something only Alamar can do. As we build our team, we seek collaborative, driven, intellectually curious people committed to solving complex challenges. Our culture rewards accountability and cross functional teamwork because we believe this enables the kind of breakthrough thinking that will accelerate our mission.

- Drive product transfer from R&D to manufacturing, including the development of robust, scalable, and cost-effective production processes
- Design and execute experiments to characterize product performance, stability, and manufacturability
- Develop and validate QC methods and specifications to ensure product consistency and compliance with quality standards
- Author and review technical documentation including SOPs, batch records, product specifications, and technology transfer packages
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support design transfer, risk assessments, and process validations
- Mentor junior scientists, providing technical guidance and project leadership
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and root cause investigations for product or process deviations
Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with reagent development, assay optimization, and product transfer in a regulated and/or ISO-compliant environment
- Significant experience with NPI, having performed product transfer on multiple commercially launched products
- Deep understanding of protein and nucleic acid assay technologies (e.g., ELISA, qPCR, NGS, immunoassays, and proximity ligation or extension assays)
- Experience with DOE, statistical analysis, and process validation using JMP or similar statistical software
- Familiarity with quality systems, including ISO9001, ISO13485, and design control processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-driven environment
- Significant experience with automated liquid handling systems and high-throughput assays and/or manufacturing processes
