Why We Need you!
Ivanti is seeking Senior Software Engineering Manager in Test to help transform the Quality Engineering practices of our Enterprise Service Management platform. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring delivery of high-quality releases. You will be primary gatekeeper of quality for the product and decide the overall strategy for functional, performance and regression testing of the product. This role involves managing quality assurance processes, implementing quality control measures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the production line. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in building and leading high performing teams on a SaaS product and 10+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in Enterprise Service Management or a related industry.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead and manage QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products and systems.
- Define Quality Goals and review periodically and improve the overall quality of Enterprise Service Management Platform.
- Drive the Design and development of robust test automation using programming languages and tools like C#, Selenium and Cypress for Angular UI.
- Define performance test strategy and be responsible for the building performance test framework and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement modern QA strategies for an evolving SaaS platform.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance and execution of test plans and test cases across various testing methodologies in an Agile environment.
- Manage and participate in hands-on testing and test automation to identify, document, and resolve system defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall product quality and improve QA processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and best practices to continually improve the QA function.
- Contribute to the growth and continuous improvement of quality and testing processes across the Engineering organization.
- Be metrics driven for a data-driven approach to proactive quality improvement.
To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:
- Bachelor degree with 10+ years of experience in QA and test automation delivering test automation initiatives, including 5+ years in a managerial or leadership role
- A significant plus would be experience in leading QA and test automation for IT Service Management or related platform using C# Selenium and Cypress.
- Proficiency in test planning, test case design & execution and test automation
- 2+ years of DevOPs experience, integrating automated tests into CI/CD Pipelines.
- Leverages QA Metrics and KPIs to drive improvement initiatives.
- Solid understanding of SaaS concepts, networking and architectural frameworks and methodologies, a working knowledge of design and implementation of systems software as well as the internals of the system in order to produce the best possible system availability and performance.
- Experience in designing, developing Performance Tests strategy using industry standard tools such as LoadRunner, JMETER etc.
- Hands on experience with various APM tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, DataDog etc.
