Kymera is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Applications to focus initially on G&A applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of enterprise applications in departments such as Finance, People & Culture (HR), and Legal, as well as practical experience in the operations of these functions.

In 2023, we plan to continue to advance our leadership in TPD and enhance our capabilities to deliver on the potential of inventing a new class of protein degrader medicines for patients. Kymera is rapidly advancing four clinical stage programs in oncology and immunology, and is positioned to deliver one additional Investigational New Drug Applications (IND) annually. We are also actively advancing a broad pipeline of preclinical programs where TPD has the potential to provide a best-in-class approach, both internally and in collaboration with our partners Sanofi and Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully manage IT projects from initiation through closure, including vendor selection, business requirements, design, development, documentation, testing, training, and hypercare.
- Cultivate effective partnerships with each business function.
- Collaborate with application vendors, implementation partners, and managed support providers.
- Provide hands-on support for key applications, such as NetSuite, Coupa, and Ironclad, while also leveraging managed support providers.
- Identify process improvement opportunities while leveraging our existing suite of solutions.
- Support change management and governance activities to ensure new items are tested and implemented to meet the needs of the business.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), data privacy, and FDA computer systems validation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise IT applications, including ERP, HCM, and CLM, ideally within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Experience working in public companies with SOX controls. Experience in small companies and/or start-up environments.
- Strong project management skills. Demonstrated ability to work on diverse projects simultaneously, requiring detailed analysis, creative/practical problem solving, time management, and sound judgment.
- Proven track record of successfully achieving challenging goals.
- Effective analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to relate well to people at all levels, recognize interests, and build bridges.
- Ability to negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders to determine the best solutions for the company.
