THE ROLE

Socero is the leading provider of AI-powered language intelligence for life sciences companies.  We are seeking an experienced and visionary Sr. Product Manager to help Sorcero shape the future of AI in life sciences. This person will play an instrumental leadership role at Sorcero by driving product strategy, evangelizing the product to prospects and customers, and devising solutions to critical business problems. This person will be passionate about teaching colleagues and customers how to solve important business problems using Sorcero. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both product management and the life sciences industry, with a deep understanding of AI and SaaS technologies. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Development
    • Develop and execute the product roadmap for the Sorcero product suite, aligning with company goals and market needs
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, sales, and marketing to deliver innovative product offerings
    • Oversee the product development lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond
    • Be an expert on customer needs as well as competitive alternatives
    • Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as the voice of the customer, gathering and prioritizing user requirements and feedback
    • Conduct product briefings and training for marketing, sales, and solutions teams
    • Conduct market research and interviews to understand and validate market needs
    • Evangelize and demo the product to customers and prospects
    • Work with the sales team to design solutions in line with customer need and objectives
  • Corporate Citizenship
    • Be a positive force in a great company culture that emphasizes trust, collaboration, and excellence
    • Support key corporate initiatives whenever and wherever necessary

DESIRED OUTCOMES & MEASURES

  • Customer Success: customers are delighted in our products and engagement. Key indicator: Net Revenue Retention (NRR)
  • Company Growth: Sorcero achieves revenue targets. Key indicator: annual recurring revenue (ARR), measured on a next-twelve-months (NTM) basis.
  • Internal Alignment: internal stakeholders understand product capabilities, use cases, and product direction. Key indicator: response to surveys.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and data analytics technologies
  • 5 years professional experience designing and building technology solutions for life sciences customers
  • High-degree of comfort with product management tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Sorcero is a remote and globally distributed team. We offer rewarding compensation that will include a base salary in the range of $155,000-$180,000 depending on experience.
