Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Controller to lead our global accounting organization. This key leadership role will oversee all aspects of financial close and reporting, treasury management, audits, revenue recognition, taxation, and payroll across our international entities. The Global Controller will ensure financial compliance, operational excellence, and strategic financial leadership while managing and developing a high-performing global accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the global accounting organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial close and reporting processes across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Lead and coordinate external audits, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Oversee global revenue recognition processes, ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and company policies.
  • Manage international tax compliance, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, and transfer pricing, while collaborating with external tax advisors.
  • Supervise global payroll operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and support to senior management, offering insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Optimize financial systems, processes, and reporting tools, leveraging technology for automation and efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a global accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Sales, Delivery, and Operations, to support business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably in a global organization.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience managing financial audits, revenue recognition, tax compliance, and payroll across multiple regions.
  • Hands-on experience with financial systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience leading global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
