We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager of Learning & Development Strategy to lead the creation of exceptional learning experiences to ensure our new and existing customers effectively use the ever evolving capabilities of the Hi Marley platform. In this role, you will define our onboarding and ongoing learning strategy based on customer persona and carrier segment and lead the evolution of our performance support assets and the associated technology to deliver them. The ideal candidate posseses a strong blend of learning and development expertise and B2B SaaS and/or P&C insurance.  What You’ll Do: 

  • Identify the learning strategy for new and existing customers and define the execution approach to move from strategy to delivery
  • Define and evolve learning personas and associated learning paths  
  • Translate topics into engaging, digestible, and scalable educational experiences in a variety of delivery formats for a range of learner personas and customer segments with a bias towards self-serve content
  • Apply adult learning theory to the design of engaging training experiences and the development of associated learning assets
  • Measure efficiency & effectiveness in advancing core success metrics
  • Adapt and evolve approach over time based on carrier and user needs & context  
  • Work cross-functionally with SMEs and stakeholders to validate learning objectives, feature accuracy, and incorporate feedback
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the product and the capabilities that enable users to be successful in their jobs
  • Enable internal teams to be successful in their understanding of the product
  • Develop and lead the team to next level performance
  • Jump in where needed so our customers can be as successful as possible in driving business outcomes through the use of Hi Marley 

What We’re Looking For:  

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about learning and development and how it aligns with customer and business goals. Experience in setting and driving learning vision at a high level.
  • Instructional Design: Create effective and engaging learning experiences that meet the needs and expectations of a variety of customer and internal personas. Bonus if you also have practical change management experience in influencing behaivor change and driving adoption.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams without a step-by-step playbook, including marketing, customer success, product, and executive leadership.
  • Communication and Facilitation: Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to articulate decisions and advocate for user-centric solutions, easily convey concepts to a range of audiences, and engage and involve stakeholders.
  • Solutions Orientation:  Ability to dig in to understand the problems that need to be solved and then demonstrate a purposeful “let’s go” attitude to experiment and bring solutions to bear 
  • Customer Obsessed: Consitently brings the customer point of view based on quantitative and qualitative insights to drive higher levels of competence and performance in using the platform
  • Experience: 5 – 6 years of learning & development experience. Bonus if you have worked in SaaS and insurance.
