Position Summary: 

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you’ll be a part of our dynamic team and shaping the journey of our freight-moving platform. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing, this position provides a chance to have a significant positive impact on the $1.6B freight market, its hardworking professionals, and Truckstop’s growth.  

This role is responsible for knowing the customer, developing product marketing strategy, articulating differentiated value, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for developing messaging, enabling our sales and partnerships teams, and driving revenue. 

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Customer Obsession: Constant monitoring, synthesis, and internal communication of NPS, win/loss, sales and support calls, customer visits and other data signals from our customers. 
  • Product Expertise: Deeply understand every product feature in detail, the value props behind them, and how to communicate it to the market across all of our messaging. 
  • Strategic Positioning: Develop and execute a compelling product positioning strategy and messaging framework that distinguishes our offerings in the market and highlights our unique value proposition. 
  • Product Packaging: Work closely with sales, marketing, and other key stakeholders to create and enhance product packages that resonate with our target audience and drive customer acquisition. 
  • Go-to-Market Execution & Project Management: Create and implement go-to-market strategies for product launches, ensuring alignment, training, and enablement of all departments with the necessary tools for success. 
  • Market Sizing & Intelligence: Continuously analyze market size, market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to inform product positioning and messaging. 
  • B2B Content Development: Responsible for the creation of persuasive sales and marketing materials, including video content, in-app content, website content, sales sheets, etc. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, and other teams to optimize the sales process, enhance customer onboarding, and promote upsell opportunities. 
  • Product Marketing Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of product marketing strategy and drive continuous improvement 
  • Leadership: Cultivate a customer-centric mindset and a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the Product Marketing team and contribute to long-term strategic plans and vision. 

Position Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in inbound and outbound product marketing required, preferably in SaaS. 
  • Experience in research and research methods. 
  • Track record of data-driven marketing and the ability to analyze and utilize data to inform strategies. 
  • Direct experience in pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies 
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with teams like Research, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Support.  
  • Track record of running successful launches. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and asset development skills. 
  • A strong entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to take on initiatives and pursue opportunities.

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for a yearly bonus. Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$120,000$150,000 USD

The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not include other related occasional work that may be assigned or is completed by the employee.
