We’re looking for creative, problem-solving designers who are focused on solving the right problem. Your preferred approach to design will involve some or all of the following:

  • Understand the customer’s biggest problems and pain points, and solve for them accordingly
  • Bring a mature understanding of design principles and processes, including how to adapt pragmatically to constraints or competing priorities
  • Leverage prototyping and testing on the way to selecting the optimum solution
  • Connect design outcomes to business goals and various data points
  • Frame problems in a way that opens the door to diverse, effective solutions
  • Be proactive in identifying and proposing innovative ideas
  • Practice inclusive design
  • Value collaboration and leveraging diverse perspectives

The experience and skills you’ll bring to Slice:

  • Demonstrable experience creating elegant, impactful design for B2B or B2C products
  • Ability to take design from inception to completion and implementation
  • Working knowledge of forming  actionable insights from disparate data sources, knowing the difference between data-informed, and data-driven 
  • Excellent communication, with narrative skills that promote design conversations across teams and functions
  • The ability to render your design solutions in high-fidelity, preferably using Figma
  • Skilled in design system contribution and evolution
