We are looking to hire a Senior Product Designer to be a design leader in our new Innovation Team, contributing to UX strategic direction, roadmap, and success metrics for our portfolio of new products that drive the future of the fan experience. What you’ll do:

  • Partner with product management and engineering to create thoughtful solutions for new products that intersect with and expand on PrizePicks’ existing portfolio
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to create imaginative, user-friendly, effective UX, communicating the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Take business objectives and user needs into visionary conceptual designs that ignite our product experiences and thrill our member community.
  • Design beyond the expected, pushing the boundaries of creativity in sports gameplay and digital fan experiences
  • Be a fierce advocate for the fans who use our products every day
  • Contribute to leading discovery workshops and qualitative research efforts to gather feedback from internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Work within agile workflows, ensuring we hit the design and development milestones and demonstrate commitment to constant improvement.
  • Share your design concepts with stakeholders, team members, and external partners through storytelling and visual decks.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, forge and execute exciting digital ideas, and encourage a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
  • Dynamic UI Animations: Utilize animation interaction design tools to enhance the user experience with dynamic and interactive UI animations.

What you have:

  • 4-6 years of experience in product design and creative development, working on consumer apps with some level of scale
  • A portfolio that excites and demonstrates your design chops in product design, typographic finesse, interaction, and more!
  • Ability to bridge the gap between design and engineering teams, ensuring seamless communication in turning ideas into reality.
  • Extensive experience and proficiency in Figma, with a proven track record of crafting high-fidelity designs and prototypes that solve key problems for target audiences
  • Sharp eye for iOS vs Android design patterns, with the ability to leverage platform-specific components to ensure top-notch user experiences across mobile devices.
  • Animation Tools: Experience with animation tools like Rive.app or after effects to create engaging and dynamic user interfaces.
  • A background in leading and/or strongly participating in design sprints and discovery/ideation workshops
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies that enhance the design and collaboration process
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to rally with cross-functional teams, and a collaborative mindset to foster innovation
  • Demonstrated curiosity and mindset to find novel ways to discover and solve customer problems
  • Humility and emotional intelligence enabling you to learn from and build upon the ideas of others

Where you’ll live:

  • Candidates local to the Atlanta, GA area are preferred, but remote candidates will be considered, and if hired will need to travel to Atlanta roughly twice per quarter.
