Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) is the world’s largest telematics service provider. Its mission is to make the world’s roads and drivers safer. The company’s AI-driven platform, DriveWell® Fusion, gathers sensor data from millions of IoT devices — including smartphones, proprietary Tags, connected vehicles, dashcams, and third-party devices — and fuses them with contextual data to create a unified view of vehicle and driver behavior. Auto insurers, automakers, commercial mobility companies, and the public sector use insights from CMT’s platform to power risk assessment, safety, claims, and driver improvement programs. Headquartered in Cambridge, MA, with offices in Budapest, Chennai, Seattle, Tokyo, and Zagreb, CMT measures and protects tens of millions of drivers across the world every day.

  • Lead cross-functional internal and external meetings to present analysis, insights, and proposals for recommendations, while diving deep into the data to generate testable hypotheses
  • Participate in A/B and other statistical testing design, setting up control groups, and relaying outcomes of testing, aiming to accept or reject growth hypotheses
  • Handle special analytical projects as needed, and may oversee the work of less experienced analysts
  • Complete any additional tasks that may arise

Qualifications:

  • BA, BS, or certification in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Math, or related field

  • Prior experience working in an embedded, cross-functional product team
  • Strong investigative skills and intellectual curiosity to seek the truth
  • Ability to update and retrieve data, clean it, highlight changes and incongruencies, and deliver understandable insights and opinions on the results
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Good understanding of statistical testing in a business setting
  • Experience with data visualization tools, ideally Tableau
  • Willing and able to work in person in our Cambridge office twice per week

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Fair and competitive salary based on skills and experience
  • Equity may be awarded in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, matching 401k, short-term & long-term disability, and parental leave
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off including vacation, sick days & public holidays

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
