About the role

Reporting to the Director of Analytics, as a Data Analyst at CitySwift, you will be a key member of the Analytics Team, working closely with data, application and product managers. You will be integral in completing in-depth technical analysis and presenting results both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities

Explore massive amounts of data including geographical data and perform large-scale analysis to extract useful insights
Create and maintain reporting dashboards that track key metrics
Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business and our customers by effectively communicating results to cross functional groups
Expand our data warehouse with clean data ready for analysis
Suggest improvements in the tools and techniques to help scale the team

Key skills

Essential

Fluent in Cantonese.
3 years experience in a Data Analyst role ideally within a fast paced, B2B environment.
Hold a BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineer, Operations Research, or related technical field from an academic institution.
Experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches (or equivalent).
Highly proficient in SQL.
Comfortable working with GIT and Python.
Proven ability to extract insights from data.
Effective communicator who can clearly explain complex topics to a wide variety of audiences.
Experience working with Data warehouses especially cloud based platforms such as GCP.

Desirable

Knowledge of data modelling.
Looker and LookML experience.
