This candidate will join a well-funded, fast-growing technology startup with the unique opportunity to help build out a critical function for the company.

The Executive Assistant (EA) will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the CTO, a key member of the executive team. The EA will ensure the CTO’s day-to-day productivity, optimize scheduling and communications, and coordinate across the technology organization and other departments. This role requires superior organizational skills, discretion, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of a fast-moving technology executive. This is a hybrid role based in our Los Angeles hub. 

What you will do:

  • Calendar & Schedule Management: Organize and maintain the CTO’s complex calendar. Prioritize appointments, manage internal and external meetings, and resolve scheduling conflicts with professionalism.
  • Communication: Act as a point of contact between the CTO and staff, partners, investors, and customers. Draft and manage correspondence, presentations, agendas, and reports.
  • Meeting & Event Coordination: Prepare, schedule, and track technology team meetings. Ensure all necessary materials and follow-ups are managed for product reviews, leadership huddles, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Travel & Logistics: Plan and coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodations, and expense reports for the CTO. Ensure seamless execution, considering last-minute changes.
  • Project Support: Assist with special projects for technical, operational, and strategic initiatives, including gathering information, tracking milestones, and following up on deliverables with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information related to technology strategy, company operations, and personnel matters with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Process Improvements: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the CTO’s office and technology team operations.
  • Document Management: Organize, track, and file contracts, compliance forms, and other critical documents related to product, engineering, and security initiatives.
  • Talent Partnership: Partner with the Talent team on high-level hiring initiatives, including candidate communication, interview scheduling, and ensuring a seamless experience for executive-level candidates.

What we look for:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting C-level executives, ideally in a technology or high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive), Slack, and productivity/project management tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate the CTO’s needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Bonus:

  • Prior experience supporting technology leadership or product/engineering teams.
  • Passion for supporting executive productivity in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Interest in learning about SaaS, technology trends, and the commercial contracting sector.

Compensation:

  • $85k - $105k base salary range + annual bonus or negotiable base salary + annual bonus
