In this role, you’ll become an essential part of the BuildOps marketing team, supporting initiatives across customer marketing, operations, demand generation, and events. You’ll manage the inventory and shipping needs of our revenue team, assist with expense management, and work closely with the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to ensure consistent, effective follow-up post-marketing activities. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to build foundational marketing skills and gain exposure to all aspects of marketing in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Team Support:
- Collaborate with all members of the marketing team to provide ongoing project support.
- Assist in implementing customer marketing initiatives and contribute to the success of the customer referral program.
- Support the events and content team with the administrative responsibilities for virtual and in-person events.
- Aid in the development of our growing PR efforts by searching for net new opportunities, submitting award applications, and working with the content team to get more placements.
Revenue & Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory, shipping, and promotional materials for the revenue team, ensuring availability and timely distribution.
- Track and organize marketing collateral and promotional items, proactively addressing restocking needs.
Expense & Budget Management:
- Assist with expense tracking and reporting to help keep marketing projects on budget.
- Maintain meticulous records of all expenses, collaborating with the finance team to ensure smooth expense processes.
Customer and SDR Collaboration:
- Partner with the SDR team to coordinate and streamline follow-up processes after marketing campaigns and events.
- Ensure SDRs have the necessary information and tools to follow up on leads generated from marketing activities.
Education & Experience
- B.A. degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Some experience in a marketing or administrative support role, ideally in a B2B or high-tech environment, is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Google Suite Products and familiarity with CRM systems or marketing automation tools is a plus.

- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs as part of shipping and inventory responsibilities.
- This role requires three days per week in the West LA office. Fully remote is not an option.
