Job Description:
The Senior Quality Assurance Practice Lead at Elite Technology will be instrumental in supporting quality assurance and testing strategies within the business. This role demands a detail-oriented and self-driven individual capable of working both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate will handle various tasks, analyze relevant data, and provide actionable insights to inform strategic decisions. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in relevant skills/tools, and the ability to effectively communicate complex information are essential for this position.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies and processes.
- Design and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on complex issues and provide actionable recommendations.
- Mentor and support junior team members, facilitating training and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a primary liaison with stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and tools.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of quality assurance activities.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in quality assurance and testing.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience leading quality assurance and test automation initiatives in a SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive quality assurance strategies across multiple teams or projects.
- Expertise in designing and scaling test automation frameworks, tools, and processes to ensure product quality and delivery efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to take ownership of QA processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving continuous improvement without direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and how QA integrates seamlessly within Agile workflows.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards in software quality assurance is a plus.
- Certification in quality assurance, test automation, or related fields (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Software Quality Analyst) is preferred.
