Job Description:

Elite is looking for a Solutions Consultant to support the 3E sales process.

As Solutions Consultant you will report to the Director of Solutions Consulting for Europe, and join the European sales team, advising law firms on the benefits of 3E/3E cloud and supporting modules.

3E is a leading practice management package for law firms. In this role you will be instrumental in demonstrating the unique value and advantages of the Elite solution to prospects and customers.  You will be responsible for actively driving and managing the functional evaluation stage of the sales process as well as working with live clients who want to expand their use of 3E.

A successful Solutions Consultant must become a ‘trusted advisor’ to Elite customers and will be someone that Elite customers want to engage with. To do they you need to be able to offer functional guidance around the best practice use of the software, from a position of experience, whether that comes working for a law firm in a finance team, a finance systems team or having worked in a consultancy capacity on a large PMS implementation.

The role will involve collaborating with other members of the Elite organization on sales opportunities so good communication and interpersonal skills are vital.

What you’ll do:

  • Understand and document complex customer business requirements.
  • Review and discuss customer front office/finance-based processes at a detailed level and offer potential improvements, calling on your deep domain experience and knowledge of the latest functionality available.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the most senior leaders in our customers’ businesses, across IT, Operations and Legal departments
  • Initiating and participating in account planning sessions with both internal teams and client's key stakeholders
  • Supporting the sales process through customer requirements meetings, proposal development, including RFI/RFP bid management processes where required
  • Participate as a sales advocate within the Elite software release cycle, validating software is “fit for purpose”
  • Effective, timely and accurate client communications (oral and written), establishing and reviewing key performance indicators, and active positive engagement.
  • Work in CRM environment (Salesforce.com) updating account information and customer requests.
  • Ability to work upon your own initiative and support management by demonstrating a willingness to undertake additional projects and responsibilities from time to time.
  • Respond to RFI’s, RFPs, and other customer requirements requests.
  • Liaise with other members of the Elite organization, i.e. product, marketing and technical leads on Elite solutions.

What you need:

  • Either worked in a law firms finance or finance systems team or have a deep, consultant level, understanding of a PMS (ideally 3E) solution with implementation experience
  • Confident and clear communication (verbal and written) with people at all levels of the business hierarchy.
  • Excellent application end knowledge of 3E or similar PMS
  • Degree level education, ideally with experience in a corporate legal department/law firm, or significant experience in a legal operations position
  • Good understanding of general business and specifically legal department operations
  • Methodical approach to problem solving
  • Consistent performer and handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
  • High level of initiative and plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a matrix team and proactively contributes to the achievement of the Software Solutions business goals.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skill, particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel UK & Europe – 50%
