JOB SUMMARY

 

The Marketing intern will work directly with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Specialist to assist with internal and external marketing needs. The position will also require collaboration with other departments for any marketing requests (campaigns, design, content, etc...) This position will require a basic understanding of social media account management, posting, and monitoring. The Marketing Intern will work with the Director of Marketing to collaborate on campaigns and ideas as well as implement the day-to-day- social media tasks as outlined by the Director of Marketing.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete the social media account project which includes the creation of alias accounts for each office location (80+ locations) and connect them with the office FB page.
  • Manage and monitor individual office FB pages
  • Work with the Marketing Director on the Instagram roll out pilot
  • Act as a liaison between marketing team and field team members (office managers and regional managers) when collecting information and assets for campaigns.
  • Assist in the design of social media assets and content.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing tool kits to be used by EDP colleagues.
  • Listen to feedback from dental offices on design needs and help to create office-specific items.
  • Assist the Marketing Specialist in managing the network social media content calendar. “Soft touch” campaigns, holidays, welcome messages, rebrand messages, etc... Including all social channels.
  • Assist in the creation of the brand guidelines for EDP Network and offices.
  • Assist in the management of the company’s LinkedIn page.
  • Work with other departments when designs are needed. (ex: IT)

 

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stay on top of industry trends for marketing and social media marketing for the Dental/healthcare industry.
  • Ability to pull social media reports using social media management tools.
  • Ability to run demographic and competitor reports.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • BFA (or working toward completing BFA) i in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or Communications


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must know Adobe Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat. 2-3 years preferred.
  • Must have social media management experience for at least one year.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
