The Position

Work within our Creative unit to coordinate the development of various broadcast deliverables aimed at capturing the attention of esports enthusiasts and brands alike. This position will oversee a team of graphic designers who create broadcast packages and supporting elements for all of our unique events and partners. In this role, you will plot project timelines, delegate tasks to your team’s unique strengths, and manage the project funnel as well as provide creative critique and develop your team members. You will be coordinating multiple event packages at once, so attention to detail and multi-tasking is imperative. The Art Director will report directly to the Creative Director.

What you’ll be doing

  • Act as an events coordinator by working with Socials, Competitive Operations and external partners to gather necessary information and coordinate all promised deliverables
  • Target the gold standard of broadcast packages, and activate your team to achieve the best results for our clients
  • Oversee multiple direct reports and coach them on quality, timeliness, impact, practicality and attention to detail
  • Delegate and connect various designers in order to align their strengths under one common goal
  • Conduct check-ins and workshops to formulate concepts and ensure project success
  • Orient your team by providing guidance and feedback on all broadcast packages
  • Coordinate with the motion team manager to fit the needs of your team’s projects
  • Meet with external partners to provide updates and clarity on their ongoing projects as well as obtain necessary information and approvals
  • Execute direction and implement processes from the Creative Director and Head of Marketing

  • Ability to work methodically and project manage successfully
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to tackle multiple projects at once    
  • 6+ years as a Graphic Designer or similar position
  • 2+ years experience overseeing a team of graphic designers
