As our first IT hire, you’ll have the opportunity to build the infrastructure required to help eFuse scale. You’ll work closely with all parts of the business to make sure their technology needs are met, giving you exposure to all of the amazing things eFuse is working on. You’ll be expected to work autonomously and generate recommendations for the business to make it more efficient and effective.

What you’ll be doing

  • Troubleshoot and resolve daily IT issues reported by eFuse employees.
  • Track open tickets, prioritize, and document resolution of user requests.
  • Own & develop the new hire IT experience at eFuse from provisioning, onboarding & offboarding.
  • Manage our IT assets & SaaS apps, including inventory & licence management.
  • Work on projects to build our infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Deploy & utilise IT standards such as MDM & SSO to help effectively manage a growing device fleet & user base.
  • Make sure all our users and devices are compliant with our security standards & best practices.
  • Collaborate with the People, Ops & Engineering teams to help eFuse scale.

What you bring to the table

Technical Skills

  • In-depth macOS administration
  • MDM management (i.e Jamf, Kandji, Fleetsmith)
  • Managing Google Workplace, Slack & Okta (or other SSO provider such as OneLogin)
  • Working with APIs to integrate processes (i.e utilising Go, Python, PowerShell)

Personal Skills

  • Solid all-rounder with a strong background in support & technical projects
  • Ability to work on their own and in uncertainty, they’ll be building the foundation of our IT team & processes as we grow
  • Perfect for someone looking to grow into a more senior role as a tech lead or engineering manager in the medium-term
  • Strong customer-centric mindset & communication skills
