Design is core to eero’s identity. Every detail – the product’s physical form, our packaging, our simple and intuitive app, even the company’s name – reflects this. We’re setting our sights on new horizons and growing the team to build products and services that make the most of the connectivity that eero wifi offers.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll be responsible for the look, feel and architecture of one or more eero products, working across mobile apps, devices and the web. To do so, you will work collaboratively with a team of product, brand and industrial designers, product managers, and software and hardware developers. You will work across all parts of the design process: user research, concept development, prototyping, working with developers and product refinement.

What you’ll do:

  • Research, design and help build the experience of one or more eero products
  • Translate abstract ideas and requirements into tangible and beautiful design
  • Define interaction models and visual language that spans hardware and software
  • Integrate user feedback and business requirements into design
  • Create, iterate and maintain design documentation including storyboards, flows, architecture, mockups, prototypes, animations, etc.
  • Design for complex use cases and contingencies
  • Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams from product, engineering, customer experience and marketing
  • Create production-ready assets

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 6-8-years designing and shipping digital products including for iOS, Android, web apps, and/or hardware
  • Has skilled or expert level proficiency in interaction design, visual design, and design research and can work across the entire design process, from defining business goals, conducting user research, defining concepts to prototyping and development
  • Has impeccable taste and great intuition and can set a high quality bar that everyone can rally around
  • Shows strong technical and business acumen
  • Has a record of taking on significant leadership responsibility above and beyond the defined requirements of previous jobs
  • Is great at speaking to all aspects of the work, whether that's the strategy, the design process, the prototype goals or the fidelity of deliverables—and can tune the message to the needs of the audience
  • Has a deep knowledge of human centered design and can advocate for it effectively

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working on connected home products and services
  • Experience working at a startup / small company
  • Experience working at a design consultancy
  • Ninja level Sketch and prototyping skills

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

Because a person may become disabled at any time, we are required to ask all of our employees to update their information every five years. You may voluntarily self-identify as having a disability on this form without fear of any punishment because you did not identify as having a disability earlier.

How do I know if I have a disability?
