At eero we’re building the connected home of the future and we’re looking for a product focused Android engineer to join our team. Our experience team, consisting of mobile, cloud, and embedded engineers, work on key user-facing features built around the user experienc. The Android experience engineer will work closely with product and design to identify, prototype, and execute on future consumer experiences.
eero’s Android app is essential to eero’s setup and connects the consumer to their home network, giving them full control of their WiFi and connected devices. In this role you will be mentoring fellow engineers, be a thought leader when it comes to evaluating new frameworks and tools, improve our build process, work across eero’s software and hardware platforms, and play a key role in eero’s future innovations
What you'll do:
Write clean and consistent code that ships on a frequent basis
Work cross-functionally to develop new features and own their implementation
Build tools and frameworks to support the development of our Android application and enhance the quality of the product we ship to customers
Join an autonomous, full-stack team dedicated to creating a seamless user experience
We're looking for someone who:
Has 3+ years of Android development experience
Is excited by the Android platform and are eager to innovate
Has BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Is comfortable working in a test-driven environment with a fast-paced release schedule
Has side projects or published apps
Is familiar with the Bluetooth stack
